Health
Access Collaborative
A nonprofit corporation dedicated to
improving health care for persons with limited English.
The goal of Health Access Collaborative is to create a network of close
working relations to (a) improve access to health care and related social
services for persons with limited English, and (b) to improve the quality of
life for all residents of our communities. Our strategy for social change is
based on:
- Having active participation of senior management and technical staff of
all the major organizations that provide health and social services to
immigrant communities.
- Having strong support from elected officials and other local leaders who
are committed to improving the quality of life for all residents.
- Assuring participating organizations that collaborative efforts will be
mutually beneficial for all organizations and communities. Our goal is to
create new opportunities through collaboration that aren't feasible for
individual organizations, and to avoid duplication or competition with
existing efforts.
- Providing staff support so members can oversee implementation of goals
without being distracted from their own work.
Health Access Collaborative wishes to thank Southcoast
Hospitals Group for its assistance in producing this site.
